Collaboration
The ‘LVPEI’ and ‘Boston Foundation for Sight’ collaboration started in 2017 intending to improve the access of specialized lenses to patients in underserved geographies. These lenses restore visual function, support healing, and reduce symptoms, avoid corneal transplantation in some cases and improve quality of life for patients. Will soon start catering to patients in South-East and Middle-East Asia.
The LVPEI BostonSight Lens Manufacturing Lab is ISO 13485 certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI). This accreditation is a testimony to the high-quality of LVPEI scleral lenses which are offered to other eye care practitioners also beyond LVPEI, for further dispensing to the patients in need.
